Nothing is ever what it seems in the sleepy English town of Curiosity as over the course of a never-ending weekend we follow various groups of people whose lives are all interconnected without them knowing it. But they all share one thing in common: curiosity kills.
Under Mann’(🏰)s new venture, Michael Mann Books, the prequel will begin as a novel, and possibly be adapted into a film or television series. Just two days after that announcement, another project from Michael Mann Books is in the works: author Don Winslow (Savages) is writing a novel about Chicago crime boss Tony Accardo and his successor Sam Giancana, which Mann might adapt into a feature film.

The movie is to combine a film noir-style investigation with an exploration of altered states of consciousness, focusing on the story of 50-year-old Otto Ganz, the owner of a thriving building and civil engineering company that operates worldwide.
