文(wén )革中，农村青年赵天佑，因家庭出身(shēn )为(wéi )地(dì )主，差点沦落为神经病，无奈中入(rù(🖨) )赘(zhuì )山(shān )区柳沟河。改革开放后，当选为村委(wěi )会(huì )主(zhǔ )任。在爷爷帮助过的长工儿子的帮(👛)(bāng )助(zhù )下(xià )，做起了中药材生意，几年功夫，柳(liǔ )沟(gōu )河(hé )人靠种植中药材发家致富，赵天佑也(yě )因(yīn )此(cǐ )成为农民企业家。常务副市长王华(huá )林(lín )看(kàn )到了其中的发展前景，把文阳县开发(fā )区(qū )升(shēng )级为云水(💪)市中药材开发区，极力主(zhǔ )张(zhāng )中(zhōng )药材深加工。王华林后来被冒牌港商(shāng )茹(rú )丽(lì )华拉(🤭)下水，帮助她在云水市玩“空(kōng )手(shǒu )道(dào )”套取资金。农民企业家赵天佑中了(le )茹(rú )丽(lì )华的美人计，茹丽华骗走了柳沟河农(nóng )民(mín )的(de )中药材，然后潜逃。赵天佑迫于道(dào )德(dé )压(yā )力与法律追问，大雪天跳崖自杀。
